What happens when you archive a case?
Archived cases are removed from active case lists.
They can be excluded from reports.
Useful for hiding duplicates, errors, or cases you donโt want included in reporting.
๐Note: If a client has only one case and itโs archived, they will still appear in Find Client, but not in Find Case.
How to archive a case
Click Find Case.
Search for the client.
Click Case Data on the case you want to archive.
Click Archive Case.
Confirm by clicking Yes.
Once archived, a new Archived tab appears at the top. It defaults to the Current view, but you can switch views as needed.
How to un-archive a case
Click Find Case.
Search for the client.
Go to the Archived tab.
Click Un-Archive Case.
Finding archived cases

Reporting on archived cases
Archived cases affect the following reports:
Activity Report (Enhanced)
Case Management Report
Entities linked to archived cases are also marked as ==ARCHIVED==, including:
Referrals
Appointments
Visits
Goals
Prescriptions (and sign postings)
In these reports:
The Archived checkbox is selected automatically.
The overview shows the number and percentage of archived cases/entities.
If a client with an archived case is referred again later, the platform recognises the existing profile and allows a new case to be added.
