Reasons for referral report

View and report on how a client’s referral reasons evolve over time for deeper insight into their journey.

You can now view both original and current reasons for referral on a client's case. This hep you understand how a client's needs may have evolved over time.


How to view referral reasons on a case

  1. Go to Client Tools, then select Find Case.

  2. Click Show All or use the search bar to find the client.

  3. Click View Case, then click the Case Details tab.

You will see two fields:

  • Reasons for Referral (Original): The initial reasons recorded at the time of referral.

  • Reasons for Referral (Current): The updated reasons based on ongoing work with the client.

📌Note: The original reasons will also appear in the Reasons for Referral (Current) section, as they still form part of the overall referral context.


How to report on referral reasons

  1. Go to Report, then click Referrals/Cases.

  2. Click Activity Reports.

  3. Choose the report you want to view.

  4. Navigate to the Original vs Subsequent Reasons tab.

You will see a chart showing:

  • First column: Original reasons for referral.

  • Second column: Subsequent reasons.

📌Note: Hover over the chart segments to see a detailed breakdown of each reason by month.


Dive deeper into the data

Go to Details tab for a full breakdown of:

  • Each reason for referral.

  • Number of times used.

  • Percentage of total referral.

A second bar chart shows data specifically for subsequent reasons.

Note: Use filters to narrow down by specific reasons both original and subsequent. You can select multiple reasons to get a more granular view of the data.
