Before you start
To access message templates, you must have Hub Management permissions.
Step one: Navigate to message templates
Log in to Elemental.
Go to Administration.
Click Hub Management.
Select your hub (e.g. Social Prescribing Hub).
In the Hub Management section, click Message Templates.
Step two: Create a new message template
Click Create New Custom Message.
Fill in the required fields using the below table.
Click Save to store your template.
Template Title | Pick a title for your template. This appears in the drop-down menu when you select a template. |
Message Type | Select whether the template is for SMS or Email. |
Category | Select the type of template:

Body | Input the content of your email or SMS. |
Step three: Use a message template in a client case
Use the Find Case feature to open a client’s case.
Go to the Communication Centre.
From the drop-down menu, select the template you want to use.
Click Send to deliver the message.
