Using the enhanced Equality Monitoring Feature

We’ve improved the Equality Monitoring feature in Elemental to give you more visibility and control when recording client demographics.

How to access the Equality Monitoring form

To access the form for an existing client:

  1. Go to Client Tools, then click Find Case.

  2. Click View Case.

If your project has enabled the Warning Feature, you’ll see a red triangle alert indicating that the form needs to be completed.

Recording demographic information

In the Demographics section, you’ll be redirected to the form where you can record the client’s demographic details.

If the Warning Feature is enabled, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen stating:
“This tool is required but has not yet been completed. Please complete it as soon as possible.”

To complete the form:

  1. Click Create New Entry.

  2. Fill out all mandatory fields (all fields must be completed before saving).

Viewing and updating entries

If your project allows it, you can view responses after submission by clicking Reveal/Hide.

To update an entry, click Replace Entry in the Actions column. You can view this option in the above screenshot.

Reporting on demographics

You can now access a dedicated Demographics Report in the Reports section:

  1. Go to Reports, then click Referrals / Cases.

  2. Click Demographic Reports.

If your project uses multiple demographic forms, they will appear as separate tabs across the top of the report.

Available filters

Within the report, you can filter by:

  • Timebar

  • Created per Hub

  • From Hub

  • From Establishment

  • Gender

  • Age

  • Area (Postcode/Eircode)

  • Cohort

  • Demographic Responses

If your project allows response visibility, you’ll also be able to see which cases each response applies to.

You can download or print the report for further analysis.
