Merge clients

Steps to merge duplicate client records while keeping the most accurate data intact.

Before merging

Before you merge the client records, you will need to find the record you are merging into.

  1. Find which client record has the most up to date data.

  2. Point to the client name, then note the ID number for the client.


Merge the records

Once you have the information recorded, you can merge the records.

  1. Go to Administration.

  2. Click on Merge Tools.

  3. Select Merge Users.

  4. In the search box, enter the client's name.

  5. Click the Select All checkbox.

  6. Click Merge against the client what has the most data held against it.

  7. Click Confirm to complete the merge.
