Set mandatory fields for Express Referral forms at a hub level to tailor referral requirements across your project.

Customise mandatory fields on Express Referral forms at Hub Level

You can now choose which fields are mandatory on the Express Referral form at a Hub level previously this was only possible at the licensee project-wide level.

This allows for a more tailored setup across different hubs within your project.


Available fields to customise

You can choose to enable or make the following fields mandatory:

  • NHS Number

  • External System ID

  • GP Practice


How to configure field preferences for a hub

  1. Go to Administration, then click on Hub Management.

  2. A dropdown list will appear showing all hubs you're tagged to.

  3. Select the hub you'd like to update.


Update referral setting

  1. Once inside the hub, go to the top navigation bar and click Referral Settings.

  2. Scroll down to the Referral Fields section.


Customisation options

From here, you can:

  • Enable or disable the Medical Number field.

  • Choose whether the Referral Number is mandatory.

  • Set the Client ID format (NHS, CHI, PPS).

  • Enable a GP Practice dropdown and make it mandatory.

  • Enable or disable the External System ID field.

  • Choose whether the External System ID is mandatory.

Once saved, these changes will apply to new referrals submitted to the selected hub(s).
